FAQ

  • Accelerate4KIDS goal is to advance knowledge of computer science, marketing, and entrepreneurship for Detroit youth so they can create opportunities for others in the future.
  • The D-Hack is a 1-day hackathon for Detroit Public Schools Community District High School students.

  • Teams will compete to develop an Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning (AI/ML) challenge in 12 hours while learning about computer science, marketing, and entrepreneurship through guest speakers and mentorship. Prizes will be awarded to the top 3 teams.

  • Teachers, students, or parents must complete and submit both the D-Hack registration form and the Parent consent form before your registration is complete.

  • D-Hack will take place Saturday, December 7th, 9am-9pm at the Western International High School, 1500 Scotten Street,, Detroit, 48209. Participation is completely FREE!  Breakfast, lunch, and dinner will be provided throughout the day.

  • You will receive a confirmation email with the next steps.
